Hibiki-san has cosplayed countless of characters I might not even be aware of. However, as far as I've known, she is famous for her Kaito and Lelouch crossplays. I've seen her photographs everywhere!
She has been cosplaying alongside Saya and other famous cosplayers. Also, she has been going for events at Thailand and Singapore as a cosplay judge. They are so lucky
Now I can say this without exhaturation ,
she is the ULTIMATE CROSSPLAY IDOL.
I mean, look at that photo. You cannot deny it. Go and search for more sexier photos, I swear you'll get at least a humongous nosebleed because I get a friggin heart attack > / / / w / / / <. Even girls would fall for her, nope...correction, they already did.    = / / / w / / / =
She has this essence of elegance, calmness, and manliness that radiates from her whenever she crossplays.

I mean, these type of amazingly idiotic people are everywhere in the internet. I know you wanna kill them However, keep calm and keep it mature. Ranting on and on to that person to close down their account or send death threats won't help much on either party, so it's best to immediately REPORT the particular account. Simple as that. 

REMEMBER, there is a difference between stealing other's identities and tributes for them. So don't go and simply report like nobody's business when actually they have clearly stated it is a tribute page for Hibiki Touya.

Cosplay or Roleplay?

There's a whole lot of definitions for 'cosplay' for each individual. But what I find amusing is how people argue about a certain costume not being categorized as cosplay but rather roleplay. Apparently, it is their 'duty' to point what is 'real' cosplay and what is not, not that it really matters for starters since this is just a fun hobby. Then again, wanna-be-cosplayers tend to be quite irritating.
Nevertheless, I suppose I'll enlighten you guys with my understanding of what is cosplay and what is roleplay.

Cosplay- A term used for those who dress-up as a certain character and imitate their behaviour. Long story short, as long as you are playing a character, that it considered cosplay. Though some people will probably argue on this since this term is used mostly for characters from mangas/games/anime/animated movies.

Roleplay- A term used for those who dress-up without aiming to act as a certain character of any kind. But this term was commonly used for characters from games. To keep it simple, no character-> that is roleplay.

Side note: There is also another form that goes under cosplay or perhaps an entirely new category which is OC which stands for 'Own Character'. Basically, you made it up however some argue that wearing a wig of a certain character and mashing it up with some random clothes while intending to still stay as that character is OC. Though I find it easier to think OC as dressing up as a character you made up.

To show you examples of what I've pointed out, I'll show you what is cosplay and what is roleplay.

1. Maid
a) This is roleplay since she's just wearing a maid outfit. I know most of you thought of maid costumes as cosplay, however, it is not. Remember, she's not playing any specific character.

b) on the contrary, the picture below shows a girl cosplaying as Ayuzawa Misaki from Kaichou wa Maid-sama.

2. Cats

a) Yup. It's roleplay. Just because this girl put on some cat ears, a tail and some paws does not make it a cosplay.

b) However, this one shows a cosplayer cosplaying Ritsuka Soubi from Loveless. (ps. it's a guy character. pss. it's from a BL manga/anime so yeah...)

3. Nurses

a) Obviously this is roleplay. I don't understand why people keep thinking that just because you wear a nurse uniform means that it's cosplay, cuz you're not playing a certain character 030.

b) Of course, you guys know Miku right? Well, this cosplayer is cosplaying Miku, nurse version. Yup it exists. Well, usually characters have several versions and as for vocaloid, the list is endless.

4. Zombies: This one is a bit tough to decide but as long as they're in an anime and they have this specific look, I suppose you can count it as cosplay. But that's what I think.

a) Yup, you guessed it. Roleplay~

b) Zombies from Highschool of The Dead (yes, it's an anime. Watch it if you want)

I guess you guys see my point now so yeah, this question of whether it's cosplay or roleplay can be a bit tough and some people are sort of ridiculously sensitive about this but I think it doesn't really matter that much when you do it. Because you're not doing this for people's recognition, it's supposed to be for fun.

However, I do feel pissed off that somehow cosplay is related to porn when it's not, since they just roleplay. Kinda disturbing to look when you go google it. =3=

If you guys see it differently, then please do share your opinion. I'm pretty much open to what you guys think, plus there might be other people out there who think the same ^w^

Youtube Cosplay Spotlight: Uncle Ester's Boys

Contrary to their name, Uncle Ester's Boys/FarbrorEstersPojkar, they are all positively 100% FEMALE. Hahahaha if you haven't seen them yet, then I might have destroyed your fantasies before it even begun XD
Right, well, they are basically a group of cosplayers from Sweden and they make cosplay videos duh~
Now, what is interesting with their videos is that they do use the language of each character, meaning that if it's Kuroshitsuji, they'd use English(cuz the setting is in England duh). This can be proven especially in their Hetalia the Nordics series, where each cosplayer, uses their own language from the country that they are cosplaying.
I love the idea of doing that and I solute them for trying their best to speak each language even though it's foreign to them or they're not fluent in it.
And so... the reason why they are so damn popular now is because of their Hetalia the Nordics series.

Animax Carnival 2012 Cosplay Competition!!!!

There's not much to explain. All the details can be found in the pics and on the official website. Right, if you're hesitating, then don't. There will be a lot of cosplayers going, fun games going on(so gonna win a prize =w=) and well, let's just say it will be epic.
Of course without any problem, I WILL attend as Kagamine Rin, Juvenile version so come and stalk me XP or poke me. I don't mind. You might also spot me with my Len for the day, but that person will be cos-ing Servant of Evil version. Anyhow, don't be shy, I'll probably get bored there so yeah come ah!

Cosplay Idol: Tribute to SAYA, Cosplay Queen

You are definitely not a TRUE COSPLAYER if you haven't heard the name SAYA before.
And I'm talking about THE QUEEN of the Cosplay World.

Saya-sama is a cosplayer from Japan who has been cosplaying for quite some time.
She has cosplayed well, I dunno...over a hundred characters(?) and as far as I've known, she's rocked every single character she cosplayed and CROSSPLAYED.

But above all of the characters she has cosplayed, the first thing that pops up in everyone's head is HATSUNE MIKU.

Unfortunately, Saya-sama died on 15th March 2011. There's been debates going on in the internet about how she died. But it's best if we do not question it, in the honour and respect of Saya-sama.

To tell you the truth, I found Saya through Hibiki Touya. Biggest discovery of my life. NO REGRETS!
